"I sought treatment for Weight/appetite control and anxiety issues … I have been able to gain a sense of self and security. Greatly reduced my panic attacks and I have been able to eliminate using Xanax for personal life issues. I feel deeply rested after a session.”

I sought hypnosis for grief, anger and a complete personality overhaul. The sessions were very rejuvenating and calming. Weeks afterwards,
I'm making significant life changes that I had little energy for before
treatment ... even as a pompous psychiatrist, I felt very safe and in
the hands of an experienced professional.

I sought hypnosis as a treatment ... to clarify future goals and then work with trying to get pregnant ... The work helped me calm down, feel reassured about the process of pregnancy and trust in myself and my
ability. There was one session in particular where we did a "meeting" with all the important characters involved in the pregnancy. This session really helped me be able to trust myself and relax more about
the process ... hypnosis allowed me to access and trust my internal wisdom ... thank you for all that you helped me with. I'm two months pregnant and very grateful for your sessions.

Welcome to
Rocky Mountain Hypnosis!

"HYPNOSIS is amazing! The mind can heal the body — and the spirit. We live a life of speed, stress and constant change in a world of limited time and money. Hypnosis offers a safe, fast, easy, effective and inexpensive way to treat many physical illnesses and psychological conditions, to improve all kinds of performance, and to succor those in the midst of difficult life transitions. As a hypnotherapist, it’s my calling and my privilege to facilitate physical and emotional healing, to enhance personal achievement and to guide and support those who courageously choose to bring what’s unconscious to consciousness during this pilgrimage we share toward wholeness and the Divine.”

Dr. Stacey Arnett

HYPNOSIS can:

  • Relieve stress and anxiety
  • Reduce chronic pain
  • Heal or promote the healing of many physical illnesses
  • Heal or promote the healing of many psychological conditions
  • Transform unhealthy habits (eg. smoking, poor eating)
  • Motivate healthy change (eg. weight loss) and compliance (eg. exercise, taking medication).
  • Enhance performance of all kinds
  • Improve achievement in any endeavor
  • Encourage and support personal growth
  • Open the memory to past lives to enrich current life experience

HYPNOSIS is a technique used to create a trance, an altered state of consciousness. The word hypnosis means a sleep-like state. But a hypnotic trance is nothing like sleep because a person in trance is always aware of and in control of everything that’s going on. Trance feels a lot like when you’re absorbed in a movie or book or day-dreaming; at such times you’re so completely “entranced” that you lose track of time and hours pass like minutes.

HYPNOSIS is older than recorded history. It has proven helpful to the troubled and their healers since man started talking. Various forms of hypnosis have been practiced for thousands of years by shamans, priests and magicians in many cultures, including African, Siberian, American Indian, Celtic, Egyptian and Ancient Greek.

HYPNOSIS works because in trance your subconscious mind is more accessible and open to suggestions that can have a healing influence on your body and your conscious mind. It is a safe, gentle, fast and inexpensive treatment for psychological and emotional disorders, as well as for many physical conditions. Although there is still no definitive explanation of just how it works, both the American Medical Association and the American Dental Association have accepted hypnosis as an adjunct to standard medical and dental care since 1958. Indeed, it is so effective that both Associations have recommended that it be taught in medical and dental schools.

HYPNOSIS is possible for anyone who wants to be hypnotized. A hypnosis session conducted by a trained and certified hypnotherapist begins with a discussion of what changes you’d like to make in your life. After an induction into trance, you and the hypnotherapist consider together new ways of dealing with whatever troubles you. While you are in trance the hypnotherapist makes specific suggestions to your unconscious designed to help effect change and healing in your everyday conscious world. You are always aware of your surroundings and the conversation. You are always in control and can “come out” of the trance at any time. You cannot be made to say or do something that you do not want to say or do. A session usually takes about 45 minutes and you will always “wake up” relaxed and refreshed.
